The X-Men are a superhero team in the Marvel Comics Universe. They were created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, and first appeared in The X-Men #1 (September 1963). Under a cloud of increasing anti-mutant sentiment, Professor Xavier created a haven at his Westchester mansion to train young mutants to use their powers for the benefit of humanity, and to prove mutants can be heroes.
Xavier recruited Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, Beast and Jean Grey, calling them “X-Men” because they possess special powers due to their possession of the “X-Gene”, a gene normal humans lack but which gives Mutants their abilities. Early on, however, the “X” in X-Men stood for “extra” power which normal humans lacked. It was alluded to that the mutations were incurred as a result of radiation exposure. All five original X-Men, including Professor Xavier were stated to be the children of parents who worked on atomic weapons for the United States military.

Now owned by the Liz Claiborne fashion company, Juicy Couture is known for their signature velour tracksuits as well as other clothing and accessories.

Juicy Couture is marketed as a high-end clothing line at an affordable price, and is aimed at women ages 10–26. Juicy Couture also has a line of men’s clothing and accessories. Since Spring 2009 (southern hemisphere), Juicy Couture has discontinued its Men’s Line “Dirty English”. [1] Juicy Couture does also have clothes for children, babies and pets, selling prams, dummies, pet blankets and ranges of small sizes.

The Simpsons is an American animated television sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series is a satirical parody of a working-class American lifestyle epitomized by its eponymous family[1], which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. The show is set in the fictional city of Springfield, and lampoons American culture, society, television and many aspects of the human condition.
The family was conceived by Groening shortly before a pitch for a series of animated shorts with the producer James L. Brooks. Groening created a dysfunctional family and named the characters after members of his own family, substituting Bart for his own name. The shorts became a part of The Tracey Ullman Show on April 19, 1987. After a three-season run, the sketch was developed into a half-hour prime time show and was an early hit for Fox, becoming the first Fox series to land in the Top 30 ratings in a season (1989–1990).

pongeBob SquarePants is an American animated television series, created by marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg. Much of the series centers on the exploits and adventures of the title character and his various friends in the underwater city “Bikini Bottom.” The series’ popularity has prompted the release of a media franchise, contributing to its position as Nickelodeon’s highest rated show, the most distributed property of MTV Networks, and among Nicktoons’ most-watched shows.
The pilot episode of SpongeBob SquarePants first aired in the United States on Nickelodeon on May 1, 1999, following the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. The “official” series premiere followed on July 17, 1999, with the second episode, “Bubblestand/Ripped Pants.” The show reached popularity shortly after the beginning of its second season and has remained popular since. A feature film of the series was released in theaters on November 19, 2004. The series is currently in its seventh season and celebrated its tenth anniversary on May 1, 2009.

Hello Kitty (ハローキティ Harō Kiti?)[1], is a fictional character produced by the Japanese company Sanrio, first designed by Ikuko Shimizu. She is a staple of the kawaii segment of Japanese popular culture. The character is portrayed as a female white Japanese bobtail cat with a red bow and no drawn mouth. The character’s first appearance on an item, a vinyl coin purse, was introduced in Japan in 1974 and brought to the United States in 1976.This debut came under the Sanrio company lineup, where her various products are still developed and sold.
The Hello Kitty trademark has since spread globally and developed licensing arrangements worth more than $1 billion annually.[5] Examples of products depicting the character include dolls, stickers, greeting cards, clothes, accessories, school supplies, dishes and home appliances.[6] Her fame as a recurring Sanrio character has led to the creation of two officially licensed Hello Kitty theme parks, Harmonyland and the indoor Sanrio Puroland.
